Jackie joined Slater Byrne Recoveries as an Account Manager and has brought with her decades of expertise in the collection industry. Her dedication to her job extends far beyond the office and she finds joy and balance in life at home with her family and pets.
Jackie has over 14 years of experience in debt collection under her belt, including vehicle auditing and work across the insurance industry. Jackie holds also multiple credentials, making her a very valuable asset to the team. Among some of these are: Certificate III in Financial Services, Mercantile Agent License, Tier 2 General Insurance Compliance and General Advice, and Certificate III in General Insurance (FNS3015).
Her deep passion for the ever-evolving industry of debt recovery began in New Zealand and continues to grow each day. Her excitement for her work stems in the fact that, “You never ever know how a matter is going to turn out until we start working on it,” as she puts it.
“It’s a fast-paced environment. We are always here for the clients, and we make sure to provide the best outcomes for them” Jackie shared.
As the only New Zealander at Slater Byrne Recoveries Australia, she proudly wears her Kiwi accent and brings her bicultural insight to every interaction she has.
Being a company that has diverse and wide range of clientele, Jackie realized that she would learn a lot in Slater Byrne Recoveries, where her skills would be honed, and this is the exact reason why she chose Slater Bryne Recoveries. “I have a bit of an extra bonus too, as I am from New Zealand, and get to manage debts, in Australia and New Zealand,” she added.
How Jackie Forsees Her Future
At this exciting phase of her career with Slater Byrne Recoveries, there are two things she still wants to accomplish, one: stay fit and healthy through mindful habits, outdoor time, and her consistent walking routine, and two: travel Australia in a caravan to explore remote beaches and bushlands with her pets by her side.
If she has some advice for her younger self, that would be, “Experience independence and don’t take everything for granted. Accept help and make good choices.” This ethos of courage, gratitude, and awareness is exhibited in every area of Jackie’s life, either at home or at work, pushing her path forward with joy and adventure.
